Two posts in a week? Out of control.
I've come to terms with being 23. I closed out 22 pretty nicely. I finally got that credit card I've been trying to get for 5 months. I met with Roy at Arutz 24, and even though it produced no real tangible results, I left my resume and my thesis at the station. Instead of being told that there was just no work available, I was told to get back in touch in August/September to see if anything could come up then. Yoav Kutner, the guy to know, made it sound like he would be able to find something for me. I'm not counting on anything yet, but I think I'll start with something small and possibly work my way up. Eventually it will be Arie's Awkward Hour at Eight. Sit tight.
I celebrated 23 in style, with the return of Phil to the Holy Land, the return of Zev to hanging out, and the return of tostim to my belly. Top that off with a little picnic in Puke Park with the kiddies (and a few friends my own age), and 23 was at least as memorable as 20 (go shorty, it's my birfday), 21 (with the one and only Sandy Bercu) and 22 (poorly defended thesis).
And now that my laptop case has turned up again, bank statements and Pop Music book intact, I can safely say that May 11 was a success all-around.
Where to from here? In the interest of staying up-to-date on my own Israeli hip hop knowledge, I'd like to begin keeping an Israeli hip hop website. Please leave suggestions for what you'd like to see on it.
Love always,
MC Olami

Glad to hear you finally got that interview. You know you could create a podcast...that'd be cool.

Naked pictures of women. But, really, more posts of you bitching. Seriously, they're great. Write some more. But first fix your fucking blog subscription thing so that updates are sent out. I can hardly remember to write entries on my own blog let alone read the ramblings of a fellow j.
